About Me

Automating the Mundane

I am a Front-End React and Shopify developer based in sunny Los Angeles. I am passionate about building things that automate the mundane in order to free up time so that you can do things that you actually enjoy doing.

Previously I worked as a park ranger which allowed me to do what I love - be outdoors and experience life in different parts of the country. Through this work I spoke with thousands of visitors a day, from all over world. The outdoors inspires my work and drives me to build beautiful, thoughtful creations.

What I Do

React and Shopify Front End Development

All of my code is responsive and user-friendly, and I am able to build quick, single page projects using React Components. These programs make my clients' lives easier without any lag or the need to load new pages.

If you have a Shopify store, I wll make sure all components are customizeable by the client without the need of having a developer on hand at all times.

Full Stack MERN Development

I have full stack experience building and deploying responsive websites and user-friendly applications. I specialize in React and Node.js, using Express and MongoDB, and have experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python.

Communication and Data Analysis

My past experience as an interpretive park ranger has given me strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work with research and data. I am able to take a lot of information, analyze it, and make it both digestible and attention-grabbing. I am very used to speaking in front of large groups, leading teams, serving as a mentor, and training others.
